A few simple steps to your data plan with your Mercedes me App.
If so, please open your Mercedes me App and proceed as follows to activate your data volume from a third party free of charge:
You may be able to purchase the "Entertainment Package" with data volume from a third party, depending on your country, software version, vehicle line and ordered equipment. To check availability, please open the Mercedes me Store:
If the product or service is not available, you can search in the Mercedes me App for "Internet in the car" to find a separate, chargeable data package from a third party which does not form part of the "Entertainment Package". Or you can connect your smartphone via Bluetooth tethering** or WLAN tethering** to use your mobile data volume.
* The components marked with * are Mercedes me services. A personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the Terms of Use for the Mercedes me connect services are required to use these services. In addition, the vehicle must be paired with the corresponding user account. Upon expiry of the initial term, the services can be renewed for a fee, provided they are at that point still offered for the corresponding vehicle. Initial activation of the services is possible within 1 year of first registration or initial operation by the customer, whichever occurs first.
